Editor: The Show Cue System (SCS), formerly known as Sound Cue System, is the perfect solution for sound effect and music track Playback for live theatre, and for backing track playback and automation for live music productions.
With SCS you can assemble all the cues you need in the order in which they are to be played. You can set the required level (volume), pan, length and speaker selection for each cue. Hot Keys are available for those sounds you may want to play at any time. Level Change cues can dynamically adjust cue levels; Control Send cues can send MIDI control messages to other Equipment; Play List cues can look after your pre-show and intermission music; and Video cues can play video files via a video Projector or separate monitor.
Main Window
The upper part of the screen contains a control area and VU meters. Below that is a scrollable list of the cues, and below this cue list is a more detailed look at the cues, starting with cues currently playing. The 'next cue' can be started simply by pressing the space bar or right-clicking the mouse.
Editor Window - Audio File Cues
On the left of this screen is the cue list. The green background area to the right contains general Details of the cue, and the blue background area below that contains details of the audio file sub-cue. After browsing for and selecting an audio file, you can set levels, start and stop positions, loop start and end points, fade times, etc.
Editor Window - Playlist Cues
Playlist Cues are ideal for pre-show and intermission music, where you compile a list of tracks to be played either in order or randomly. Cross-fading and other transitions are available Between tracks, and the whole playlist may be stopped or faded out when you are ready to start the show or the next Act
